To be confident. I think oftentimes as maybe students or individuals struggle to find their their path or their journey. I think there's something to be said to be an explorer, but to be confident in the decisions that you make. My younger self would have never in her wildest dreams would have thought that I would be leading people as an introverted, shy, individual, but I think that, in spite of the fears, trepidations to move forward in life, I was confident enough to enjoy the adventure that was set before me, and here I am across the country and doing something super impactful.
They just kind of threw you in there, "Do what you can do, and we'll see where everything lands." And that didn't sit well for me. So I was like, let me go back to school and see what information I can get from there to bring back, to be a better coordinator, to be a better role model for these students.
