The challenge now is that the work stays in your mind a lot. You’re constantly thinking about the kids, how to redirect what’s happening in the classroom, how to help them, and how to create something useful that provides real value for their lives.

You can put as much time into it as you want; in many ways, the sky is the limit.

They just kind of threw you in there, "Do what you can do, and we'll see where everything lands." And that didn't sit well for me. So I was like, let me go back to school and see what information I can get from there to bring back, to be a better coordinator, to be a better role model for these students.
