One of my “aha” moments was when I was coaching cheer in afterschool. I realized I could be more than a coach—I could be like a big sister or role model. These students were dealing with bullying, insecurity, and self-doubt. Being there to support them, to pour into them and speak life into who they are, really showed me the impact you can have beyond the activity itself.
